What does “aha(tik)va” mean?
The word aha(tik)va (אה(תיק)בה) is a combination of three Hebrew words:
ahava (אַהֲבָה), which means love;
tikva (תִקוָה), which means hope; and
tik (תִיק), which means - fittingly - backpack.
